Everything is recycled in India, even Dreams - Shashi Taroor
I sent the quote to my sister and wrote that I am so happy that I don't recycle my dreams on my boys. she then asked me if I am sure of it. It made me to rethink. Haven't I advised them not to be like me? Haven't I told them about my lost and shattered dreams and hopes so that they wouldnt do the same mistake?? Haven't I warned them if they did this they would end up like this? Haven't I suggested to take this activity so that it would help them? Haven't I initiated "futuristic plans" with them?? Haven't i helped them to choose subjects for high school programmes and extra murals? So I am actually recycling my dreams on them!! As a parent you cannot run away from that. our experiences, thoughts, dreams, hopes,mistakes... they all influence our children.
Well, as I said I am a new blogger, have been thinking of starting one for ages, and every time i try to start I fret, I get cold feet. My mother and few of my cousins have been forcing me to start a vlog, but decided to start this and then later get into serious Vlogging.
I believe that if you have a garden and library you have everything!
I am a plant lover and I love gardening. garden is my solace, that is where I find true happiness. I live in my garden and sleep in my house. My garden is purely organic and I don't use any chemical manure or sprays. I have Roses, Jasmine, petunias, Lillies, Lotus,Gerbaras..to name a few. I have a secret garden on my terrace where I grow my orchids. I mainly have Phalaenopsis, that is the only available orchid here. I brought a few, infact smuggled them, from home. my grandfather had a rare orchid called Dove Orchid, I brought a small bulb from home, patiently waiting for it to grow and bloom!
In my next post would like to share a few of my creations.
This is just a start...Once I get the hang of it shall post more...till then Ciao
